Endurance is Found

The Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust is pleased to confirm that the Endurance22 Expedition has located the wreck of Endurance, Sir Ernest Shackleton’s ship which has not been seen since it was crushed by the ice and sank in the Weddell Sea in 1915.

  Dear MATE ROVians  Finally, we will have a MATE ROV Turkey 2022 regional event as REMOTE event on Saturday  26 March 2022 where WINNERS of the regional event would be able to participate in the World MATE ROV 2022 event.

THIS YEAR WE WILL CONSIDER THE FIRST 2 WINNERS IN THE EXPLORER CLASS AND 1 WINNER IN THE RANGER CLASS.

Hello PNW ROV Teams! It has been way too long since we have seen you all and we hope you are healthy and ready for competition! Yes! We will be hosting our regional competition on May 7th! Of course, we will have to follow any changes to King County Aquatic Center COVID restrictions, however as of today, the event is allowed to take place. You can keep up on the KCAC requirements here.

Winners from the MATE World Championship Remotely Operated Vehicle Competition

Whether virtually or in-person, several honors were awarded at the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) International Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Competition World Championship that took place at East Tennessee State University, Aug. 5 to 7.
