Buoyancy Award –-best attitude when facing hardship and overcoming obstacles
Hello Teams! Welcome to the 2021 Competition season!
Q: Have you finalized the dates and location of the 2021 MATE World Championship?
A: Not yet! We are working to secure dates during the first week of August – again, in an effort to put more of a buffer between the event and the virus (and to allow more time for vaccinations). We had hoped to lock in the dates and location by the end of February but need more time. Thank you for your continued patience!
Help Us Get Ready for the 2021 Regional Competition
Dear Oregon MATE ROV Instructors and Mentors,
We are working to plan a MATE ROV Oregon Regional Competition for 2021. We know that this year is full of changes for schools, educators, and students, so please complete this short survey to help us gauge your intent and ability for participating in the Oregon Regional MATE ROV competition in 2021.
Q: Will there be events this year?
A: YES! There will be a MATE ROV Competition season this year. We met with the MATE Regional Competition Network of coordinators on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 to discuss event scenarios and how all of us can ensure the health and safety of all participants. More on those scenarios and health and safety practices is included below.
